How it Works:
Temperature Control:
The control board receives information from temperature sensors inside the refrigerator and freezer. It then processes this data to maintain the desired temperature by adjusting the compressor and fans accordingly.
Defrost Cycle Management:
The control board regulates the defrost cycle in frost-free refrigerators, ensuring the coils are periodically heated to melt any accumulated ice, preventing freezer burn and inefficient cooling.
Compressor and Fan Control:
It controls the operation of the compressor (which circulates refrigerant) and fans that help in air circulation within the refrigerator. Based on the feedback from the temperature sensors, the control board determines when the compressor should turn on and off.
Alerts and Indicators:
The control board may also manage alerts, such as when the door is left open or when there is a temperature fluctuation, alerting the user with a sound or visual indicator.
